Product Information
Integrated Bluetooth technology in select Ottobock mechatronic products enables programming and customization of device settings wirelessly. The Bionic Link PC Bluetooth adapter plugs into the USB port on a PC and establishes a connection between the Ottobock product and the computer.
The Bionic Link PC USB Bluetooth adapter must be used for data transfer between the device and related Data Station software. Conventional Bluetooth receivers are not sufficient for proper function.
The NEW 60X5=2 Bionic Link PC uses Bluetooth LE (low energy) technology which consumes minimal energy and is designed to connect to devices across a short range (10m / 32.8 feet). It is slim and compact and uses a modern chip that is “Future Fit” to ensure long term compatibility and availability. The Bionic Link PC adapter is utilized to establish a Bluetooth connection to multiple products including the following:
- C-Leg 4 Update (delivered after to August 14, 2023. Article #s ending in “-3”. Example: 3C98-3=8.5-3)
- Kenevo (delivered after to November 1, 2023. Article #s ending in “-3”. Example: 3C60=3)
- Michelangelo
- System2000 (with 60X6)
- Meridium
- Genium
- C-Brace
The blue 60X5 Bionic Link PC adapter and new white 60X5=2 Bionic Link PC adapter (DUAL Low Energy) are backwards and forwards compatible with select Ottobock mechatronic products.
