Knit-Rite®
The DERO® sock minimizes or eliminates unwanted rotation and vertical movement between the outer socket and silicone suspension liner or gel interface by incorporating friction enhancing polymer strips in the prosthetic sock. The DERO® sock provides an opportunity for silicone suction suspension in transfemoral cases where it may otherwise be contraindicated by allowing easier donning and volume management capability. The polymer strips add virtually no thickness and are vertically oriented in standard AK and BK patterns to allow various ply combinations, while maintaining the circumferential stretch inherent in the Soft-Sock prosthetic sock.
