For patients having total hip replacement surgery. Reduces accidental dislocation of prosthesis from acetabular cup implanted in the ilium. 45° fixed flexion preset abduction to maintain positive medial pressure to femoral head of prosthesis throughout full range of motion. Adjustable abduction to 13° with small wedge, 25° with large wedge. May be used for right or left side by reversing upper mounting strap.
