This splint uses the PneuGel® dual compartment technology. The bladder is made from a durable material that is inflatable and encapsulates a freezable gel. The outer pneumatic bladder compartment can be inflated to insure a comfortable and secure fit and to provide measured compression to reduce swelling and edema. A fabric layer next to the skin reduces the potential for skin irritation and condensation buildup during "cold therapy".
